June is a busy, but exciting month! It’s Black Music Month, which means your girl needs to tap in!

I debuted my viral music history web series, Do You Know Your Music History? in February for Black History Month, although I concepted the idea a year and a half prior. But that’s a story for another day. Here’s the Season 2 Trailer:

Besides watching any documentaries, there are also plenty of books, autobiographies, and podcasts available to explore. Engaging with your local community by supporting black-owned music venues or record stores, reflect and consider the cultural impact of black music.
